The other night we went to Rock Bottom for a few after-work beers. When we paid our bill they asked if we wanted to give a dollar towards muscular dystrophy. Good strategy to target drunk people with loose purse strings. Two of us gave a dollar so we got two shamrocks.

One Step Closer..

I just made my final payment on a student loan I took out back in 2000 when I took several semesters of classes while I was living out in San Diego. Finally, one more chain of debt around my neck thrown off. I think the only debt I have left right now is one credit card. w00t! Not to shabby. I want to pay a bunch of the credit card off, but since it’s the only thing, I feel that it’s manageable.

Allergist

If anyone knows a good allergist in or around The Loop/West Loop/Michigan Avenue, let me know. I prefer one with modern technologies like the grid that’s pressed on your back to test for allergens instead of the old-fashioned, torture, cut one-by-one method. I’ve had both and the second one is not so great.
