The second book in the Southern Vampire Mysteries series. These books are leaning a little Harlequin Romance-y, but I’m not sick of them yet. We’ll see how long it lasts! I listened to the audio version of this book while doing laps at Palmer Square.

Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris

I somehow got this audio book for free in a promotion. It’s sat on my computer for about a year before I finally gave it a listen. I totally got sucked in. It’s the first book in the Southern Vampire Mysteries series, which is the series that the popular HBO show True Blood is based on. The last think I wanted was a book about vampires, but this was pretty good. I already am listening to the second book in the series.
