It snowed for the last few days, accumulating about a foot on the ground. Yesterday morning there was an earthquake and then it all ended. And, no, I did not feel the quake, but I did feel the one that happened few years ago.

So, we got a bit of snow today. There was a lot of hype about it, and I guess the suburbs got more, but only about 3 inches fell in Chicago. Just enough to make it a pain to walk in and get to work.
In the neighborhood it was kind of serene. Even at my train stop.

In the Loop? A bit more hectic. It seemed like less snow but it was dirty snow. Bleh. Cars, people, hectic.

It’s supposed to keep snowing through tomorrow. Hype, hype, hype. The news is going on and on about it. If it’s so bad, how did Dallas’s flight get out on time today? At O’Hare? On United? Usually that combo can’t even depart on time on a sunny day, let alone in the middle of this crazy “blizzard” the news is going on about.
