Sunday was the first day of this year’s Logan Square outdoor farmers market. I think every year this market just keeps getting bigger and better. It was a gorgeous day outside and there were a ton of people shopping around. I arrived at about noon, two hours after the market opened, and some of the vendors were already sold out of things. I picked up some strawberries, granola and three peony stems. There were a ton of people picnicking on the boulevard and just enjoying the day in general. Very good scene.

Sno-Cones, Magnificent Mile, Chicago
Yesterday was insanely cold, like a daytime high of 10 degrees or something, but it was sunny and the skies were blue for once so I was happy. I saw these sno-cones on Michigan Ave. I must ask, “What’s up with that?”
