Gapers Block turned 3 and had a big party at The Hideout on Friday night. Justin, Erin, Scott and I went to check it out. It was fun and the band, Canasta, was great. They get bonus points for having a slide trombone and a violin in their rock band. Check out Chicagoist’s review of Canasta, and don’t forget, our own Chicagoist birthday party is just a couple weeks away!

And you might wake up the next morning wondering how all those photos of you doing retarded things got on your camera. But anyway, the Cubs won, Killian taught me the correct way to cheer for Alou, and the rain ended up not being too bad. Lots of fun!
