TMI, Strack & Van Til, TMI!

January 13th, 2012 · No Comments

I really appreciate Strack & Van Til‘s effort to educate the consumer, but maybe something like “aids digestion” would be more appropriate than “prevents constipation” and “blocks diarrhea.” What does that even mean? “Apples, they make you go, but not go too much!”

Whole Foods Dinner For Two

January 6th, 2012 · 1 Comment

The last time I was at Whole Foods I noticed they had these bags of “Dinner for Two” in their prepared food section. For $15.99, the bag included an entree and a few sides.. maybe a dessert? Maybe just a slight twinge of lime, but he’s been eating it on a lot of sandwiches so it must be good.

Lincoln Park Manhole on Michigan Avenue. Why?

October 19th, 2011 · No Comments

I took this photo by accident one day while I was shopping on Michigan Avenue. When I discovered it later, I liked it, so I decided to post it here. But does anyone know why the manhole says “Lincoln Park” when I was on Michigan Avenue?
