I’ve spent much of the last two weeks in Boston for work. Unfortunately, I didn’t really have time to do anything, besides work, or to meet up with any friends there. Mostly just worked and went back to the hotel and worked. I did manage to snap off a bunch of iPhone photos, though.
Both weeks I stayed at the historic Omni Parker House Hotel.

It was a corner room, so it had two windows.
The Parker House is where parker house rolls were invented.
Boston Cream Pie was also invented at the Parker House.
Now Boston is the city that never sleeps? According to the Parker House, I guess.
The hotel was a short walk from the office. Along the way, I walked part of The Freedom Trail.
The walk included a lot of old timey statues.
Very founding father-ly.
This T stop was a visual cue for me to turn.
I kept passing by a shop with this in the window. Ouch!
My new client, State Street.
The Roundarch office is stocked with Adirondack seltzer in several flavors. Very good.
A couple times I had lunch at Viga, across the street from the office.
One night I got a rice bowl from this Chipotle-like restaurant, Boloco.
In case you forget where you are…
One night I walked to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. On the way I passed this historic spot. You can’t tell what it is? The site of the Boston Massacre.
Inside Quincy Market, I got a lobster roll and clam chowder at Boston Chowda.
Not the original Cheers location, this one is at Faneuil Hall.
At Logan Airport
Rick Bayless’s newest restaurant, Tortas Frontera.
I had a meal there and it was so good. I felt bad for the people sitting next to me eating McDonald’s.
