On our drive to the north shore of Kaua’i, we stopped at the ancient Maniniholo Dry Cave, which is across the street from Ha’ene State Park. One time when I drove with Rob, Sarah and Cousin to the north shore of Kaua’i we stopped there too. It’s pretty neat. It starts at the base of a cliff. Inside is dark and creepy. I never saw, but I heard that in the back of it there’s a hole that comes out the side of the mountain. Also, I heard that it used to be much bigger but a tsunami in the 1950s half-filled it with sand.
