These mailboxes debuted last spring as a way to help celebrate Star Wars’ 30th birthday. I took these photos last August, but never got around to posting them til now.

To All The Tenants

I returned from brunch at the Cupping Room to find 3 people standing in my apartment hallway trying to make sense of the sign posted above our mailboxes. The sign reads (all grammar, spelling, & punctuation errors are that of the note’s author):
TO ALL THE “TENANTS”
PICK-UP YOUR MAIL AT THE “POST OFFICE. THE “MAIL MAN” IS NOT “DELIVERING” MAIL TO THIS BUILDING. SAID HE CAN’T GET INTO THE BUILDNING. PLEASE “CALL THE “LAND LORD”.
P.S. THE MAIL MAN, SAID HE DOESN’T LIKE US “TENANTS,” BECAUSE NO BODY IN THIS BUILDING GIVES HIM A XMAS PRESENT.

ok. wtf? And no, we haven’t gotten any mail since last Thursday.
