Did Someone Say “Free Drinking”?!?

January 25th, 2003 · Comments Off

Brett requested that my name be put on the calendar to drink free at Antarctica, so they put it on. I was the only one there drinking for free, of course, because nobody has the same name as me.

Brett, Rachelle, Tim.

Jessica somehow managed to finish a couple of these pint-sized mixed drinks.

Dennis doesnt like to get his photo taken, but too bad.

Typical Jeannette photo!

Jessica & Rachelle.

Mmmm. Pretzels. I honestely didn’t even have that much to drink at Antarctica. People paying for drinks were drinking faster than me getting drinks for free. They definately made money off my free night. I brought about 10 paying friends in that night.

After we’d had enough of Antarctica (really, how long can you stay at the TMP dive bar?), we headed over to the East Village where Joel and Shaun met up with us at some salsa bar. Shortly afterwards we headed over to Lava Gina, or La Vagina if you’re talking to Eric.

Christine & Eric. I think I may finally have a competitor.

Last night was my night to drink free at Antarctica. Thanks to everyone who made it out.. I had a great time!

Jess’s Apartment, East Village, Manhattan

Tonight Jess and her roommate, Raed, had a holiday tree trimming party. It was really chill and mellow. Maybe because the spiked cider and spiked eggnog was steadily flowing. Very cool.

The Grey Dog, West Village, Manhattan

Weirdest thing: On the way home from the party I walked by The Grey Dog and it was toilet papered. WTF?

Bowling For ColumbineYesterday, I’d planned on seeing Standing in the Shadows of Motown, on Joel‘s recommendation, but instead saw Bowling for Columbine, the Michael Moore documentary about violence in America. This one makes you think.. while you laugh and you cry. It made me angry. And sad. You should go see it.
