I posted this on Facebook a few months ago. My new haircut had made it really easy for me to let my hair air dry and when I do that, it’s curly, especially with the right haircut. Just wanted to post this on my site, too.

A couple weeks ago I saw my mom and she said “Oh! You got your hair cut! Usually you post it on your site, but I didn’t see it, I didn’t know.” And there’s a reason for that. I don’t mind the people who email me and say “Isn’t it about time for you to get a haircut?” when eerily, it is. Or the people who say they live 1,000 miles away but want to know where I got it cut because maybe they’ll swing by and get a haircut there. Those are kind of strange, but I can deal. What I can’t deal with are these strange international men emailling me who seem to have haircut fetishes. See below:

I just want to say that your blonde/honey color hair with the short bob cut is just fantastic really breathtaking. Have you had it cut into a bob very often. Your photos too are very high quality if you have any more photos of your bob cuts id love to see them . Have you ever considered taking some outside or inside your salon id love to see it too hairdresers and barbers in usa look much better i think than the ones we have in uk and tend to use brightly colored capes wheres as in uk capes are boring black or gowns with sleeves.If i ever want to change my digital camera id consider the camera you have its really good. Layers

Before
After
Yesterday after lunch I went and got my hair cut at Fringe on Milwaukee Ave. Usually when my hair’s grown out this long I go and chop it all off and start over, but this time I decided to keep length, but add life by adding layers. I think it looks good but it will be interesting to see how it goes when I style it myself. My stylist put this silicon serum on my hair .. I’m not sure what it was but it smelled and felt like heaven! I think these layers and long bangs are going to take a bit to get used to, right now they’re kind of in my eyes and annoying me.

It seems like I only do this right about once a year. This is the photo collage that I gave to my hairdresser last night. I think he did a good job.
