Division Street is the northern border of East Ukrainian Village. It’s become a very trendy area to eat at nice restaurants and shop in specialty boutiques. There is one Mexican grocery left but it’s closed. The Eastern European roots come through in Andy’s Deli. This photo is of the old storefront. There is a new one just up the block. It’s still very authentic and not uncommon to walk by and see some beautiful blond women speaking Polish.

In these last 4 posts I have walked the perimeter of East Ukrainian Village. I’m looking forward to exploring the interior of the neighborhood next. A lot of people are moving into Ukrainian Village & East Ukranian Village because the real estate is cheap right now. I felt the need to take these photos because I think if I go back in a few years and did this again it would look very different. We’ll see!
