I saw this gutted building around Milwaukee Avenue and Green Street back in May. I wonder if something new is in there yet. I’ll have to go by again. Whatever happens, they should keep that old sign!

Last night I took another stroll past the Nice Slice Pizza storefront and one of the windows was uncovered. I took this spiPhone photo. You can see things are progressing inside, but it still seems to be far from being ready.

There’s a lot of construction being done in the blocks surrounding my office. Last Friday I spotted this guy across from the Merchandise Mart. I doubt the sparks could do anything, but people walking by were freaking out a little, since he was right by the sidewalk.
