Riverview by Chuck Wlodarczyk

I picked up this book on my recent visit to the Chicago History Museum. Riverview Park was located just west of where we live, just by blocks. We also frequent a bar called Riverview that has many artifacts from the park. The writing in this book is pretty horrible, it’s aparent that Wlodarczyk had no editor, but he does tell a first-hand account of the park and has a ton of photographs he took. I liked the photographs best and imagining where things were in relation to where they are now. Back in the day, Riverview Park went from Lane Tech/Addison to Western to Belmont to the Chicago River.
