TECH Cocktail 7 was on Thursday night. Same song. Mostly the same people. Free beers. We did our normal routine.

Went to Bar Louie across the street beforehand to get something to eat then went to TECH Cocktail. This time Google was one of the big sponsors. They supplied everyone with Google pint glasses to drink their free beer from and some weird Google flashing light bulbs that I avoided.

I met a few new people, so that was neat. Also, Eric Olson moved back to Chicago. I hadn’t seen him for a few months so it was good to see him. And there were a bunch of people – his girlfriend, Laura, and a few others – who I hadn’t seen since his going away party in September, so neat to see them too.

Dallas was in town this weekend from Boston and much of the time we spent out with friends. On Sunday night we were at Bar Louie, Northside Cafe, and Silver Cloud, all on Damen Ave. in Wicker Park.
