Our favorite Japanese restaurant in Logan Square, Wasabi, is moving south, down Milwaukee Avenue, next Friday. We went last night for one final meal in their current location. The new location is the building where Paladar was. El Cid was there before that (2115 N. Milwaukee Avenue). It’s just south of the Congress Theatre. I don’t think that it will be a longer walk to get to Wasabi at its new location, about equal, but it will definitely not be in the heart of things any more. When I’m thinking about where to eat, I don’t think about going that way. Hopefully the awesome ramen, sushi and izakaya dishes will stay in the forefront of our minds and pull us in the other direction, down Milwaukee.

How bad is it that Liz and I live right around the corner, but have never been? She’s not a huge sushi fan, so we rarely go out for Japanese.

Thanks to your post, we ended up escaping the noise of the Boulevard Bash and had a late dinner here on Saturday. Very tasty!
