The Kauai Marriott Resort is located at Kalapaki Beach, so when we needed a break from the pool, we just walked over to the beach. I’d never been to Kalapaki Beach so it was cool to check it out. The beach is located in a cove, or a bay, so the water is not very rough. I loved the mountains and cliffs nearby. I wondered if everyone I knew pooled their money if we’d ever be able to afford one of those houses overlooking the beach!
