On Monday night, Jess, Sara, Ranee and I went to Millennium Park to see Ana Tijoux‘s free show. We weren’t actually seated in the Pritzker Pavilion, who chose to sit on the lawn so that we could spread out and picnic. Sara brought a bunch of things from Olivia’s Market in Bucktown, nearby where she works, and Jess and I stopped by Mariano’s next to my office to get wine…. and Rumchata. It was about 100 degrees outside, even when the sun went down, and I felt like a gigantic sweatball, but we still had a great time. This was my first Millennium Park concert and Sara and Ranee’s first Rumchata, so an eventful night for all!
