Bailey’s Milkshakes

July 22nd, 2012 · No Comments

Last weeks’ Sunday Funday featured Kristin, Jen and I drinking Bailey’s milkshakes in Jen’s backyard. It was about 100 degrees outside so we sat in chairs, cooling our toes in Quinn’s kiddie pool. It sounds odd, but really does help you cool off. Quinn got his own shake, but with peach ice cream and no booze, of course. Our milkshakes had a bit more ice than the recipe below, you can see it’s icy in the photo, but it was actually a good thing because the shake didn’t melt as fast in the heat.

Bailey’s Milkshakes
makes 3-4 shakes

6 scoops of vanilla ice cream
10 shots of Baileys
handful of ice cubes
1 cup of milk
1 can of whipped cream

Mix together everything but the whipped cream in the blender. Top with whipped cream.
