This “children’s” book made big waves earlier this year when it was leaked on the internet. I’m sure everyone’s always wanted to tell their kids to “go the f*ck to sleep” and so this guy wrote a book about it. And then Samuel L. Jackson made an audio recording that Audible gave away for free. I listened to this while walking home and it made me giggle. Sam Jackson’s rendition is great.

This is probably illegal, but I found this YouTube movie that is basically the audio version of the book, with Jackson’s reading, timed to the pages of the book. Watch it below, but not if you’re offended by the F* word.

Interesting side note: Go the F*ck to Sleep was set to be released in October 2011. In April pirated copies were leaked and everyone was sending it around the internet. I had it emailled to me a few times and in turn sent it off to several parent of small kids that i thought would appreciate it. Instead of hurting sales, this only helped them! Along with all the buzz on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. In April pre-orders for the book on Amazon reached No. 2 on the 200 top sellers list. By May it took the No. 1 spot. For a book that was not even released yet! Due to this high demand, the book was fast-tracked for publication on June 14th.
