Cubs vs. Cardinals Stormy Night Game

May 16th, 2011 · 2 Comments

Last Wednesday I went with Danny, Jen and Chad to see the Cubs take on the Cardinals. We lasted for about 2 innings before we made a run for it underground. It was like a Godzilla movie… where everyone sees Godzilla coming and flees. We saw dark black clouds rolling in. Parts of the sky were even freakishly bright red. Everyone in the stands made a run for the aisles to get out of there. We finished our beers underground and before we could leave, the skies opened up. It was raining so hard, the roads were immediately flooding. Needless to say the game was delayed. At some point we made a break for one of the bars across the street. We ordered dinner and as our food arrived the game resumed. We watched the Cubs beat the Cardinals 11-4 from the safety of a bar across the street!

How did you enhance the colors in these photos? They are really bright!

I used a setting on my camera that did all the sharpening and blurring and made the colors very saturated. On the computer I only slightly adjusted the crop/rotation. Might have adjusted colors, but if I did, only very slightly. It’s all the camera setting.
