I bought this book on a whim at the Seattle airport. I loved the first 2/3 of this book. A mass murder mystery in Sweden. A district judge in another part of the country has a personal tie and gets involved in the investigations. I was really engrossed in the book. But somewhere near the end third, the book veers off into Chinese politics and I found myself skipping pages. It felt like the author’s personal agenda got in the way. Still the first part of the book was so great, I’d probably try another book by this author.
