Jess and I colored some hats for each other. I made her hat her favorite colors and she’d already started to make the hat she was working on red and green, but finished with my favorite colors. Her hat says “JEB” and mine says “RLB.” Jess didn’t know my middle name so I told her it was almost the same as her mom and her sister’s middle names, but she didn’t know their middle names either! (Lee, and mine is Leah).

After we colored the hats, we modeled them. Jess was really good at balancing a piece of paper on her head.

I was not.

So we taped them to the bathroom door and made Dallas take our photo. But we weren’t quite lined up.

So we took a second photo. Still not lined up.

I give up!

Also, remind me never to wear those drawstringed mom jeans again, no matter how comfortable they are!
