I listened to the audio version of this book while exercising. I finished it up this morning on my commute because I only had a few minutes left to listen to. I loved this book. It is about African American domestic workers and the white families who employed them and it takes place in the early 1960s in Jackson, Mississippi, just before the Civil Rights movement. Great book. And, in the audio version, the voice actors are fabulous. They totally nail the characters.
I really loved this book too! It was a good reading too, the southern accents were well done.
