Under our stairs, above the lower level door, it was someone’s brilliant idea to put the laundry exhaust. In the winter all the steam coming out forms stalactites by the pipes.. or maybe just icicles. On the ground icy stalagmites form.

If that is dryer vents you could put elbow on them with another short pipe and run past the door.
But if its furance I would not know if you could put elbow on that.
It sure looks like a safty problem

Luckily that’s not a door that gets used a lot. It only accesses two units and it’s the floor with the bedrooms. We use the door on the next level up the most. That door accesses four units and is the floor with the kitchens and everything.
