I liked the narative view. It was a bit predictable but a very good book! Having always had dogs, I've often looked at them and said "hhmm, wonder what you're thinking, or What are you trying to say?" so when the dog was dreaming and they brought out that machine in the courthouse and helped him "TALK" that was awesome! It's not told from the dog's point of view, exactly, but it's about a professor who is trying to teach his dog to talk in order to solve the mystery of his wife's death. Really good read.
