Today we find out if Chicago wins the bid for the 2016 Olympics. Meanwhile, I saw yesterday that the Picasso at Daley Plaza is already sporting some sort of Olympics medal and headband.

I just heard that 20,000 people are expected to show up at Daley Plaza to hear the results and then party.. assuming only if we get the bid.
Maybe some people will celebrate if we don’t get the bid?
That is a good point! A lot of people will, I’m sure. But….. I’m sure that is not the city-sponsored party.. ha!
Chicago was voted out in the first round. In the news feed, everyone at Daley Plaza looks STUNNED.
