This book got such rave reviews on Amazon, I kept waiting to get blown over and I never did. In hindsight, if you were to ask me if the book was good, I’d probably say yes.. but it didn’t “wow” me. I liked the insight into what life was like on Guernsey while it was under German occupation. I didn’t like how the entire book was composed of letters back and forth between the characters.
