This past Monday, Roundarch had an outing to go play WhirlyBall. I’d heard of WhirlyBall before but had never played. Basically it’s bumper cars with a jai alai scoop and a wiffleball. Two teams of players get into the cars, red team vs. black team. The goal is to score points by shooting at a goal, a circular target at the ends of the court.
I wasn’t sure if I would play or if I would just cheer from the sidelines while eating pizza and drinking beer. I ended up going in for a game when Ryan did and it was a lot of fun. I played two more games that night. It was a good time, but I am paying the price now. I have bruises all over my legs from getting rammed around in the cars!
