Nola’s Cup is a cajun/creole restaurant in Oak Park where Danny has been cooking over the past year. This past weekend they had their farewell party. It was the last weekend of service because they are closing shop. Dallas and I drove out to Oak Park and met up with Caroline, Cory, and Chris for one of the last dinners served. We were lucky enough to get an outside table on a gorgeous night. Danny was working in the kitchen and made us delicious dinners, as you can see below.

This was my first time to Oak Park. What a cute little quaint town! I’m glad I liked it because Danny and Caroline bought a house there that they’re currently remodeling. Ha.

We were there Saturday for the farewell dinner, wish Fried Okra had been on the menu Saturday! Those ravioli were amazing, I’d love the recipe for that cream sauce :)

My fiance was born in Baton Rouge and really liked having a place nearby where he could get some NOLA favorites. I miss it daily.
