We’ve been getting a lot of bread lately at the Mexican produce stand at the end of our block right next to the train. The bread they carry there is Bimbo, which is a Mexican brand that was started in Mexico City in 1945.

Bimbo’s logo is not a trashy idiot girl, but a cute and cuddly bear.
Bimbo was a client of the last company I worked for! I can’t deny that I used to giggle a little every time the guy in the cubicle across from me had a con call with them.
For Mother’s Day, I have asked for any one of the various futbol jerseys of the Mexican soccer teams sponsored by Bimbo. First, I just really like soccer and second, because well, I guess I perpetually have the sense of humor of an 11 yr. old boy.
You should try their sweet breads and cookies too! Very tasty ala “Hostess.”

I’ll have to look for the other breads and cookies. The “stand” at the end of our block is mostly produce, so I’m not sure what kind of Bimbo selection they have!
I wnder of the Bimbo bread has some sort of sugar made from corn, sich as maltodextrin, dextrose, solbitor, maltital, etc. I usually get a serious migrane headache after eating corn syrup. You maintian that you do not use high fructose corn syrup in Bambo bread. If so why did I suffer from painful migraine headaches two days in the row.
