It is pretty typical for kids in our family to be in the kitchen helping out at an early age, especially around the holidays. Still, I was impressed that Jessica, at 5 years old, made these candies all by herself. The only help she got was with melting the white chocolate. I asked if she was going to be a pastry chef or candy maker when she got older but she just shot me a look.
