When I was dogsitting for Vegas I saw a really good documentary called “China’s Stolen Children.” It was really disturbing and I still think about it sometimes, but it was really well done. I found it eye-opening since I didn’t know much about the subject. A lot of the movie is in Chinese so there are a lot of subtitles. I noticed this typo in one of the subtitles. No big deal, still a great movie, but I can’t remember ever seeing a typo in a subtitle before.
where is the typo?
I don see it
(I m not from a english speaking country)
She locked the door, but we prized it open with a knife.
- – should be – -
She locked the door, but we pried it open with a knife.
Ah, CP, you’re making me proud.
Actually the only thing wrong with this subtitle is the spelling, that is, the z. To prise is a valid word that means to move or force something open.
