In the morning the sun hits our big front deck. In the afternoon and evening it’s on the little fire escape alley deck. I sit on the back deck and read in the afternoons and evenings a lot. The view is great, huh?

we’re still waiting for blue bins to reach us in albany park…
thank heavens for the blue garbage cans other wise you would have a black and gray picture.
The blue bins are for recyclables. As kooky said, not everyone in the city has them yet. It’s a new program. We got our recycle bin back in June.
Certain photos say “Chicago” to me within milliseconds of first viewing. Unfortunately, this is one of them!
maybe i’m just spoiled with the blue bins, but i just thought, “what a totally chicago alley. perfect.”
