The night of the Fourth of July we bought some lobsters at Stop & Shop to make for dinner. The only other time I’ve had homemade lobster was the last time I was in the Cape, but that was six years ago. Along with the lobster we had grilled vegetables, corn on the cob, and a salad. The most delicious meal, and really healthy too!

Later on we were sitting in the screened porch drinking wine. Jess and Jen’s (they’re sisters) Aunt Sally and her friends Denise and Beth came over. We made smores and drank and talked some more and before we realized it, it was past midnight.

I’ve been lurking around your blog for a little while now (fellow Chicago blogger). And these posts about Cape Cod? Make me so excited for my upcoming annual trip to Cape Cod. Thank you dearly for sharing!

those pictures with the lobster seem so salvage! like caveman style, so inhumane, having fun with awful creature while alive, then just about being killed. and finally, you with the corpse dead body, so creeeeeeepy, and sad. like you were having careless pleasure at the death of that ugly animal,. (Im not even a vegetarian) nor peta supporter, I just think this pictures are VERY disturbing
