Rachelle, Laura, Erin :: Happy Village, Ukrainian Village, Chicago
Over the past year Laura is the 5th person I know who moved to the Bay area (John & Susan, Allison, Justin). Last night she had her going away party at Happy Village and on Monday she’s off to the West Coast. Laura grew up in Palo Alto and came to Chicago to attend the University of Chicago. She’s stuck around for a few more years, but now it’s time for her to go home. Laura will be staying in Palo Alto for the summer, but I think she said that she plans on living in San Francisco eventually. Here’s to hoping she can get hitched up with one of those cute, young Facebook millionaires!
Selfishly, the one good thing about this move is that Laura won’t be able to score the Cookie Party award this year. I kid!

not according to dallas! but he compares my tan to his, which is no competition at all. it looks more red in the photo than it actually is in person. i wear 30, 45, or 70 spf sunscreen every day, but i’ve been outside tons biking and walking and reading and relaxing.
Thanks for coming… I’ll be having some sort of “summer of Laura” in CA, and I’ll think of you while I debate if I should get a pedicure, do yoga, or just nap it off.
