I saw this sign on the bus back in May and wondered if it was in response to the accident where a woman was run over by a CTA bus and died on New Years Eve while getting her bike off the bus’s bike rack. She was dragged 80 feet before the driver noticed.
The driver died when he noticed?

Funny thing, I remember that story from New Years and when I started riding my bike to work this summer I took it on the bus a few times in spring and made sure, just politely as I walked out the door, to mention to the driver that I’m going to get my bike off the front and they answered me back all bitchy like I was annoying them.
I’m like don’t sass me ya bastard you guys just ran one of us over. I’m not going to be point #2 for ya!
I still tell them every time.
