Vodka Lemonade, Village Tap, Roscoe Village, Chicago
On Friday night I invited people to come out to Village Tap for some drinks & dinner. I then declared that vodka lemonade is the official Summer of Rachelle cocktail. Can you think of a more summery drink? About a dozen people showed up and most of them had at least one of these signature cocktails.

We will have to make sure to pack some Lemonade and Vodka for the Cape!

the only problem i see with this drink is that it has a lot of empty calories.. but then that is why crystal light was invented, right?

A “twist” (pun intended) on the SoR Lemo-Vox >> I like Vodka and Soda with a Lemon or Lime, my summer drink transition beverage. No calories in soda water (that I’m aware of), and teh lemon gives you that summery freshness I think I hear you cravin’. Of course, if that isn’t lemony enough for you, have the bartender use any of the lemon infused vodkas with soda AND a lemon — lem, lem, lemony!

You’re in luck, we will have both vodka and lemonade at our cookout on Saturday.
I also have Leinie’s Summer Shandy, which is basically lemonade beer. Yum!
