White Denim at Austinist’s SXSW Party, PureVolume Ranch, Austin, TX

After dinner we headed over to another party. Chicagoist’s sister site Austinist was hosting a party at PureVolume Ranch. The party was from 8pm - 4am. We got there at about 11, just before a band called White Denim went on. The party had all the free Lone Star beer you could drink, which is why the band is a little fuzzy to me. Especially since I’d already been to Google’s free beer party and had a couple beers at dinner. I remember them being really energetic. Justin and I stood on the side of the stage and had a great view. I remember talking to a guy who was in a band called Voxtrot who said that they played Pitchfork and Chicagoist wrote about them. Then I remember texting our music editor about it. After White Denim finished their set we called it a night. It was time.
