we saw Carl last week in Vegas for the second time.
(since 2006, we come from Germany). Unbelievable good!
I purchased his new CD and a T-Shirthe signed it !(the CD)
I spoke to him and he said, he’s on Freemont Street since 9 years!!!
On the Big Freemont Street Screen is also now a “Carl Ferris Show” !
His sound is best “live” at Freemont Street.
The Studio Sound on CD is not comparable.

Carl is the ONLY reason I look forward to visiting Vegas. His music, combined with his outgoing and genuine personna makes the trip worth every penny. whatever you do don’t buy the “promises” cd ….. the label is his and the cd is someone else
I’ve been to Las Vegas several times and have seen all the “big shows,” like the Cirque de Soleils and Wayne Newton and Celine and Elton but you know what – the BEST SHOW in Las Vegas is Carl ferris at the Fremont St experience. His show is a “must see.” Do yourself a favor and trip on down to Fremont St and see this man and hear his originally composed music. There is not a better show in all of Las Vegas. He is a phenomenal talent, not to be missed if you really want to taste the best of Las Vegas.
Just got back from 4 days in Las Vegas and was walking along Freeemont St. and heard the BEST performance of my life. I heard Carl Ferris and got to meet him during one of his breaks. He is definitely the best act in Las Vegas. He truly loves what he does and it really shows when he performs. If you are planning a trip you definitely want to see him perform. We went to see him every night we were there.

Just got back from Las Vegas and listening to the Carl Ferris CD ”All Blown Out” and kicking myself for not having purchased his other two CD’S……..WAIT A MINUTE, now I have an excuse to go back to Las Vegas!
This guy is simply the best, you can spend hours watching and hearing him play.
Whay can I say I went t a friends wedding in Vegas this year 2008 in july and saw him wowwwwwwwww is all i can say but i need help with soething if someone could email me please I bought a cd there of him playing but its playing different songs not whats labeled ….ty

Just got back from Vegas,Nov. 08 saw Carl perform all 4 nights I was there. Carl is pure soul…he puts his all into his music, he moves me…when I think of Fremont Street I think of Carl, a true music man No glitz and glamour facade just a soul man standing on Fremont St.with his sax connecting with people through his music, beautiful…..

I absolutely agree. I came back from Las Vegas yesterday…12/23/2008. His music caught me instantly……FANTASTIC!!! What an awesome performer!!!As I am typing this message, I have his new CD “PROMISES” on my headphones, (he signed it for me in Vegas) and can’t get enough!! If there would be a fanclub out for him, I would be the first one to join!! His website is unfortunately very plain, but the adress is safe-sax.com. I can recommend his CD to anyone..and am ordering his other ones soon. Again…he is FANTASTIC!!! What a fantastic musician.
Was in Vegas in November. Ditto on his reviews. A terrific talent and great guy. I’m now a big fan and have been talking him up in Philly area. Buy his cd’s on safesax.com. You wont be disappointed.
Just got back to crappy england from sunny Vegas, last night of my week there I got to see and hear something that really does sum up the town, Mr Carl Ferris, what a dude! he is a true gem in that town, the strip should take note of how appealing this guy makes downtown!
Just watch out for the shady types lurking in the shadows as I got followed after purchasing a c.d from carl- they look for who has money and then follow you until your an easy target!

It’s hard to add to the above comments, but they are all true. Leaving Fremont St. Wed. nite, our attention was drawn to the best sounding music I can ever remember hearing. I didn’t think it was possible for any musician to give this 59 year old “goose bumps” but I sure had them. It may have been the high lite of the trip….and it was FREE,( except for the cd I bought of course.)
Have to mirror everyone else here .. I was in Vegas November 9-16 and I saw Carl on my last night I think the 16th I think .. and yeh WOW.
Seriously impressed the feeling was phenomenal and his demeanor .. this is the most calm down to earth and WARM guy I think I have ever seen. He also created a small atmosphere in the middle of that giant freemont run.
Grabbed his cd “All Blown Out” while I was there .. would love to get some more… he needs to be on iTunes!

YOU WOULDN’T EXPECT A SAXAPHONE VIRTUOSO TO BE ON A STREET CORNER BUT THIS IS THE CASE WITH CARL. HE IS AS GOOD AS THEY GET.
I totally agree with all of the comments. I’ve been twice to Vegas now, and both times I’ve seen this legend strut his stuff. We went to Fremont Street on Valentine’s Day and Carl had everyone dancing to the cool, catchy sounds of his saxophone.
For me, he epitomises the true spirit of Las Vegas. Forget the artifical funfair shows of the Strip, this guy is totally original and totally live. No gimmicks, just him and his sax.
My favourite track is Jukin’ on All Blown Out – what a tune!!
His music gets in your soul. I was in Vegas 3/2- 3/6 and hit his show every nite. Had to. This cat is the only one that can get me to dance in front of a crowd. Thanks Carl!
Bought his ‘All Blown Out’ CD back in November. It is the music I listen to while I am doing my mosaics. Great art music! I could listen to him all day.

Just got back from Vegas. Heard him play ‘Miss you’. I thought at the time (even though it’s a beautiful song) I’m glad I don’t have someone to relate that song to…before I got home my Dad passed away. Wondering if someone could tell me what cd that song is on?

I saw Carl Ferris on my last night there.
Got there in time to hear his last performance of the night. I was blown away. I didn’t hesitate a second. I bought his lastest CD right there on the spot, Johnny Be Quick.
The song “Flippin’ Beads” has the words ‘I miss you” in the song. The album is in his latest Cd ” Promises”.
Go see him, you’l be glad you did.

Carl Ferris to me is the main reason to visit or stay on Fremont Street. Truly a great musician and I have to be careful cause my wife fell for his music and purchased all three of his cd’s. The truth is I am glad she did as it fills the gap till we will see him again next year. You are missing out if you do not make it a point to see him and purchase his cd’s.
Just returned from a Vegas trip and this guy is the reason you need to go to Fremont Street! Someone awhile back mentioned a fan club, he does have a Facebook fan page where you can performance and new music updates…I just joined

When we were there last May 09 you said that he would have special T-shirts for sale in the summer for the Summer Fest. Are those available now? It was great to speak with his wife she was so bubbly! Carl Ferris was the most talented performer that I saw in Vegas. This is my 15 trip to Vegas. This is the 2nd year that I have stayed downtown and have enjoyed listening to him every night that I wasout on the street.. I purchased “Promises” and now wish that I had purchased the other 3. I will be there to see you again next year. Your wife was such a nice person also. I hope that someday you will be on the marque.

My husband and i are truck drivers and had a lay over in N.Vegas in Sept. 09 and was informed that “Freemont St. Experience” was something we’d want to see. We were amazed…..with the laser light show and all but listening to Carl Ferris was the highlight of our evening. He is one TALENTED saxaphonist. We bought his “All Blown Out” cd and played it the
entire trip (over and over)to Ft. Lewis, WA .
In Oct. 09 we got another load thru Vegas and stood and watched him the entire time he played

He is a very talented guy, but I wanted to give his CD to a friend of mine to have her listen she works for a recording studio. I bought it and it was not him on the CD, but he signed it as his. Great talent but not a nice guy.

Ann, the music is mine; however your operating system is retreiving visual information from a database that my music is not registered with, so you will not see correct titles. You do however hear my original music since that plays from the CD not from an internet database. I am registered with one of the largest database groups available, GRACENOTE, but you can always listen to clips of my songs on my website and compare to your CD to verify the authenicity. You will also see the correct titles displayed if you play the CD on a non-internet based player. You can always contact me directly if you have any other questions. Carl

You even signed them for me and the music on those CDs does not sounds anything like you. That is what I was referring to.
