On my last trip to New York we were told that the wait would be 20 minutes at Westville but we waited so much longer. So long that some of us went to Patisserie Claude and got pastries to eat while waiting in line. An then waited 20 more minutes. The line wasn’t moving at all so we just went around the corner and got diner food at Manatus.

As much as I hate when it’s cold – this picture makes me long for a temperature drop so I can wear scarves.

p.s. i’m dying to go back to patisserie claude for more pastries. have also tried the brioche, which is also great. think the pain au chocolat is my fave, tho.
