Anna’s Carnitas Burrito
Anna’s Taqueria at MIT, Cambridge, MA

The last time Dallas and I were in Massachusetts we had one afternoon on our own in Boston and were trying to figure out where to eat. Dallas wanted to go get carnitas at Anna’s Taqueria because it’s his one true love. Besides me. And playing golf and watching sports. Anyway, I wanted to have seafood, so we went to Union Oyster House.

This week I’m in Boston for the User Interface Twelve conference and where’d I take JZ for lunch today? Anna’s (the MIT location). And what did I get? Carnitas. And then who posted a photo? Err..

I live pretty much next door to the one in Coolidge Corner and, while I used to love Anna’s as much as Dallas does/did, there’s something about the smell of Anna’s Taqueria first thing in the morning that’ll force you to stop frequenting it. I *will* admit though - for those certain “states of mind” when you just NEED one … their burritos are sent straight from the heavens.
