Construction Action at the Paulina Brown Line Station

The last time I posted photos of the Paulina Brown Line construction project it was an empty lot. Slowly it filled with equipment and supplies and lately it’s been seeing some action, although it doesn’t seem like they’re building anything yet.

    They are probably just staging equipment and materials for the other stations currently being worked on. The work won’t begin at Paulina until Addison and Southport are completed since the CTA promised not to close two adjacent stations at the same time.

    I know they can’t close the Paulina stop, but it seems like they could start building stuff over there that doesn’t close the station or block the track. I think I’ve seen a few guys up by the tracks doing something, but I don’t know what.

    definitely a possibility since the station entrance is being moved to that side of the street.
