German Musicians at Dinkel’s Bakery, Lakeview, Chicago
On Saturday I went to the Chicago Photography Center and noticed that there was some sort of celebration going on nearby. Dinkel’s Bakery is next door to CPC and it turns out that it was their 85th birthday. I think they were giving away free sweets and stuff, but I didn’t stop for any. I did think that this two-man band that was playing was cute, though.
We still make the drive in to Dinkel’s when we need a can’t-miss birthday cake. They’re truly top-notch.
Dinkel’s is where I got Dallas’ last birthday cake.
