Brett Favre is the all-time winningest QB in NFL history

Brett Favre is the all-time winningest QB in NFL historyDon’t know why I didn’t bring this up earlier. Like, on Sunday. I admit that I wanted Brett Favre to retire years ago and the past few years the Packers haven’t looked great. But with Brett performing this year and the Packers at 3-0 for the season so far, it’s hard not to be excited! (Knocking on tons of wood right now.) Holding records like second all-time in career interceptions thrown by a quarterback isn’t so hot, but a bunch of these other records and milestones are pretty exciting. Call me fair-weather, but I’m kind of glad to still have Favre around. I hope that after he retires as quarterback (at the end of this year??) he stays around and becomes a QB coach or something.

Wait a minute: You’re a Packers fan? I think I need to rethink some stuff.

I’m right there with ya. I wanted him to retire too, but now it’s fun to still have him around. What floors me is that he’s only a few years older than us - he looks like he’s at least 45. Football aged him. :-)

And thankfully, even though I’m up der hey in Viking territory, there seems to be more Packer fans around here than anything. In fact, should be a fun game coming up here this Sunday!

yeah, last year i really wanted him to go out on top. beating the bears on new year’s eve on the last game of the year? how perfect. cry a little and leave them wanting more. see ya and i wouldn’t want to be ya. but now, i’ve got to admit this is the ‘record year.’ beat a bunch of records, win some more games (a super bowl, perhaps?) and then leave. that would be sweet!

yay brett! he doesn’t look that old!

p.s. when you make a lot of TDs and throw a lot of passes, you’re bound to have a lot of int’s, too.

I’m with Nan. It always depresses me when everyone talks about how old Brett is and then I remember that he’s only 2 years older than I am. LOL! (SIGH!)

I’m glad he’s still around, too, and I’ll miss him when he’s gone. He’s one of the classiest players I’ve ever seen, and for an “old guy” (LOL), he sure knows how to have a lot of fun! :)
