		<description>I think the state of funding (schools to infrastructure to public transportation) in this country is more to blame. While the CTA has its share of problems and cannot be absolved from this crisis, it seems like money collected from taxpayers is not always used in the right places. We have spent over $400,000,000,000 (400 billion) in Iraq for the war and re-building their infrastructure, which works out to over $1,300 per person in the U.S. Seems like we could use some of the 400 billion over here for some things. Check out costofwar.com to see what the money could have bought in the U.S.</description>
