I took my brother and his family to the local Guatemalan restaurant, El Tinajon, for dinner when they were visiting. I like it because there are some traditional Guatemalan dishes you can get, but there are also some pretty regular Mexican dishes if that’s what you prefer. See the menu here.

The photo above is of a wind catcher that was above our table. The photo below I took the next morning when I was walking to work. I just liked how the storefront looked in the morning sun.

    We just tried El Tinajon tonight and really enjoyed it! We’d talked about going months ago and kind of forgot about it — thanks for reminding us to try it.

    This place is awesome. Just tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and already want to go back. Delicious.
