Walking around Waikiki. Taking in the sights. Doing a tiny bit of shopping. Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki is this strange mix of well-off Japanese tourists shopping at Louis Vitton and Furla thrown in with really sunburned tourists from Iowa shopping at ABC Store. Of course, that’s a gross over-exaggeration, but you catch my drift. Where else in the world would large concentrations of these polar opposite mix?

Afterwards, I met up with Allison at the Sheraton Waikiki (don’t let the first photo fool you, it was taken at the Sheraton Moana Surfrider, which is a different hotel all together) and we hung out for a while. Then Susan, who was getting a massage, met us and we decided where to go to lunch. The Sheraton Waikiki pool and beach area has great views of Diamond Head, the mountain shown in the photos above.
