Denby Fawcett from KITV in Honolulu saw that I gave a photo to KHNL in Honolulu for their newscast and asked if they could have some too. Even though she mentioned a photo credit a few times in our email correspondence and asked how I wanted it to read, the segment broadcast a few times last night with no credit. Oh well. But it’s kind of bogus, since they credited the guy who gave them some video footage. And since I also emailed them after the first airing to ask them what the deal was.

just a quick note – I spoke to Denby and it was just a mistake that I wasn’t credited. She put it in her script but for some reason it was left out. It is KITV’s policy to include credits always, but for some reason it just didn’t happen this time.
My wife and I flew in this helicopter two weeks prior to the crash for my birthday. Wow! Thanks for the info
