When Jess and Jeannette were visiting we wanted to go out somewhere nice one night. I’d never been to Volo even though it’s in my neighborhood and I walk past it at least twice every day, so we decided to try it. Love! We loved it. Our waitress was really nice and quirky and teased us a lot. She was very attentive and explained anything we had questions about. I was concerned about the size of the plates. Sometimes you get “small plates” or tapas and it’s not that much food, like a bite each person, and it ends up costing a lot. At Volo the plates are a pretty decent size. We all got several bites off each plate. We also each got a flight of wines, which is 3 2-oz. glasses of themed wines (Spanish Red flight, Pinot Noir flight, etc.). One thing we didn’t try but wanted to, was the artisan cheese. But, we loved everything we had and I will definitely be back.
